Best Life Now = Fake Christianity!

Jesus taught this:

Jhn 12:25 He that loveth his life shall lose it; and he that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal.

The more I look at many modern churches, that more it seems they match the magazines, media, television, the messages and are more just like the world.

Can one see a difference here really between the message of these three?

Read that bible verse again...

Notice that the message is the COMPLETE OPPOSITE of what Jesus taught?

The Osteens say LOVE YOUR LIFE! Jesus said "He that loveth his life shall lose it" Who are you going to believe? So many of these false preachers are focusing on the here and now, and worldly success in this life. Nightmares of false Christianity lapping up everything the false human potential movement has to offer. Extremes of this exist in the churches via the Word of Faith movement but it has seem to infected many more then that. After all think this out, isn't Rick Warren's Decade of Destiny, another "all about me", "loving your life enterprise"? Watch the video here:

He tells us:

"The way you see your life shapes your life; how you define your life determines your destiny...." [Hmm sounds very New Age there!]

I wonder how many of the unemployed people in our economy today losing their houses, are seeing themselves "determining their destiny"?

This video shows the focus of his program. {Life coaching via church}: Remember one thing about life coaching, it costs money.

All this seems to me is rehashed "self-improvement" for the middle class and upper class mostly suburban demographic. I suppose when there are books, seminars and other things to "sell', telling your consumers, they "need" a product or multiple "lifestyle" changes makes more money. Is that too cynical?

But this goes to a place more damaging then that, what happens to those who see "Christianity" as a pathway to success on this earth when they fail or life doesn't become a path of bliss? How many people drop away from what they think is "Christianity" via these churches, knowing that they do not measure up to the business class demographics, that require expendable income to make all those "lifestyle" changes?

Just watching these places, you see how out of touch churches have become, and the influence of these big names have filtered to many modern churches. The churches now have become a morass of financial prosperity and financial success seminars with Dave Ramsey's "financial peace university" and corporate success and training models. I laughed when I saw "chronic tardiness" couched as a deep concern at one "life management" study at this church, that by the way requires a 100 dollar fee to be involved. How many people know just from first glance, they wouldn't fit into these churches even just from a socioeconomic level?

After all if you are struggling to keep the bills paid, even if God is blessing your home and fulfilling your NEEDS [not wants], it is doubtful the income is going to be there for this stuff. These preachers all remain silent selling their out of touch wares as America and the world teeters on the edge of economic collapse.

Can you imagine, someone who is 80 years old with severe health problems, or someone with terminal cancer, or some guy who lost his job, and almost on the side of having to get out the WILL WORK FOR FOOD sign, taking any of this stuff seriously? The reverse message of the false "best life" 'gospel' is if you are poor, sick and/or down and out, that you have no faith. This stuff is the message of false plastic pod people who have directed people to live their lives according to the world's standards often times as hamsters on the wheel, proving their worth via their "looks", money and how busy and "important" they are.

Is it God's will for you to be rich? Well some of these life management/destiny people seem to think so.

"God has given you (and will give you) all of the "raw materials" and opportunities you need to reach your full potential.

At the end of our lives, no one is going to be able to blame God that he didn’t give them what they needed to make it in this life.

Whether you reach your full potential, or not, will be based on how you managed what you've been given."

Read that carefully. Now the Bible does speak of things that will help us in life, Proverbs alone is an instruction manual on life, but consider what is meant by "full potential"? There are millions of third world people, who live in severe poverty, as well as other poor people in America, who by all of this world standards and maybe this guy's too... "didn't make it in this life".

One thing, the apostles were imprisoned, beaten, left impoverished, how would they measure up by these "best life now--life management standards"? There are Christians now being martyred, how are they doing in "reaching their full potential"?

Jhn 16:33 These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

These are all lies to keep people focused on this life, and rejecting the truth, and leaving them asleep and spiritually unarmed for any tribulation to come. Truth faith sustains, these "best life" messages are a lie from hell leading to more sinful selfishness.

Street Preaching: Compel Them to Come In!

Luk 14:23 And the lord said unto the servant, Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel [them] to come in, that my house may be filled.

I am a supporter of street preachers and preaching. In my case, as I talk about in my testimony, I was led to salvation via someone who witnessed the gospel in the street. This lady was a "street preacher" in that she took a corner near the bus stop, and for years, she handed out tracts and preached to those that she encountered. I found the Christian literature and tracts interesting to read, and this was one way I was able to learn the gospel. The neighborhood heavily mocked her calling her "The Church Lady" with comparisons to the character of Saturday Night Live fame and would say things, like ""why can't anyone stop her"? Towards the end of my sojourn there, we would be friends, and I still remember saying goodbye to her while moving away. If I was to meet her today, I would thank her, "Thank you for preaching me the Word of God, while I was lost in the UU church".

Lately I have been convicted that I need to spend more time in real life, passing out tracts and preaching the gospel to who I can. Even if shy, one can hand out tracts. One thing concerning me more and more in most of the churches, is they seem to be telling people that street preaching is "shameful", "embarrassing" and for "crazy" people. To me this is an incredible shame. Good churches do advance soul-winning while the fallen away ones focus on telling Christians not to offend anyone.

Rom 9:33 As it is written, Behold, I lay in Sion a stumblingstone and rock of offence: and whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.

This doesn't mean that some don't go about it wrong or false witnesses use it to give Christians a bad name like the shill based-Westboro Baptist church, with its nonsensical funeral protesting, but in today's world, there are many lost people who need to hear the gospel and exhortations to repent, and trust in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior for salvation.

One thing I noticed in many modern churches, some of which I visited, there seemed to be a shame in witnessing, there were no tracts to be seen in any of the places and many of the pastors focused on telling people not to 'offend' non-believers. The day, I heard this in one church, that meant being totally done with the place.

The fallen away church system, actually has done things like join with Roman Catholicism to sequester preaching of the gospel. The WCC [World Council of Churches]joined with the Roman Catholic church and other evangelicals in writing a Code of Conduct relative to conversion.

"The World Evangelical Alliance (WEA) is ready to join the World Council of Churches (WCC) and the Vatican in supporting a code of conduct to guide activities seeking converts to Christianity."
I know from past studies regarding the RCC, they see the "compelling part here" or what they refer to as "Proselytism" as something wholly negative against their idea of church unity or ecumenism. Having read many Catholic and Vatican statements "proselytism' is something they warn against repeatedly. How many Catholics do you see passing out tracts out there? Churches without the true gospel obviously do not see the impetus in trying to witness to the lost and save them from an eternity from hell.

Many evangelicals are jumping on that bandwagon too, denying the preaching of the gospel pointing to the gospel as offense. Such preachers usually will promote so called lifestyle evangelicalism or will you that you will only "offend" people if you tell them about their need for Jesus Christ.
I find myself thinking, isn't it better that some people are offended rather then ending up in hell. Hell doesn't seem a real place, to those like Emergent preacher Rob Bell who a few years ago chastised a man street preaching via a bullhorn. Even if that preacher has some things to fix in his technique, notice that Bell seems quite upset with warnings about hell, and repentance!

One thing that is happening to street preachers is more and more legal problems. We know that the apostles were arrested for preaching in the Bible, so these times are no different.

Acts 5:27 And when they had brought them, they set them before the council: and the high priest asked them,

28 Saying, Did not we straitly command you that ye should not teach in this name? and, behold, ye have filled Jerusalem with your doctrine, and intend to bring this man's blood upon us.

29 Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men.

One can view and read endless news stories of street preachers being arrested, Christians were arrested in Dearborn for preaching to Muslims, Christians were arrested in Philadelphia for preaching against homosexuality, a pastor was arrested for witnessing and handing out tracts in front of a mosque, another preacher in America, arrested for preaching in a public spot. The incidents even on Youtube you can watch for yourself, there are loads of them!

In England, and Europe, with tighter "hate crime laws" which are being brought to American, preaching homosexuality is a sin can get you arrested. In this video a street preacher is arrested for stating that homosexuality is a sin. He pleads his case that he does not hate homosexuals but does believe from the Bible that homosexuality is a sin. The cops arrest him anyway.

There are many enemies of the gospel who want it silenced. Following Acts 5:29 above, we are to preach the gospel anyway.

Vatican Warned Irish Bishops Not To Report Abuse

"Vatican warned Irish Bishops Not To Report Abuse". The evidence that the Vatican world wide, worked to conceal the abuse within it's circles still continues to pour out. While reading this, do not forget how bad much of the abuse was in Ireland. This is a letter from the now deceased Archbishop Luciano Storero who was Pope John Paul II's diplomat to Ireland. Read here:
"The letter is of huge international significance, because it shows that the Vatican's intention is to prevent reporting of abuse to criminal authorities. And if that instruction applied here, it applied everywhere," said Colm O'Gorman, director of the Irish chapter of the human rights watchdog Amnesty International.

The January 1997 letter is from papal nuncio Archbishop Luciano Storero to the Irish hierarchy. It states that the Vatican's Congregation for Clergy, which oversees policies for the more than 400,000 priests around the world, said the bishops' new policy of mandatory reporting of suspected sex crimes by priests to police "gives rise to serious reservations of both a moral and canonical nature."

It is shocking to me how more and more of their world-wide crime in protecting abusers, is exposed, and still it isn't enough to wake up many sleeping Catholics as to the debauched and immoral nature of the leaders they follow especially the ones on the top tiers. I still remember this letter from Ratzinger now Pope Benedict which was another "smoking gun" letter as to the sex abuse cover-up promoted by Rome. The most telling sentence is "Cases of this kind are subject to the pontifical secret".

Let's look at the definition of "pontifical secret":

In Catholicism, the pontifical secret is a code of confidentiality applied to some confidential knowledge within the Church. Breaching the pontifical secret carries penalties including the threat of excommunication.

If anyone wonders why the Vatican got so many of it's leaders including many bishops in America to stay quiet, remember that penalty of excommunication. Those are the sort of "rules" that close down natural consciences. The Vatican response to this latest letter regarding Ireland, is that it was all a "misunderstanding".

Mat 7:16 Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?

Atheists and Job 38

As folks who have read my past blog entries know, I flirted with what they called "freethought" more like "slavethought" while in the UU. I remember my youthful days of stating "I do not believe in God". Much of this came from the false religion of Catholicism, but there's many atheists, secularists out there who remain totally unchurched. I read Free Inquiry magazine, The Humanist--published by the American Humanist association and back in the late 80s "The American Atheist".

What is interesting is how much energy atheists spend in trying to prove there is NO GOD. Thinking of my endless religious debates, it is ironic to look back, why expend so much energy arguing against someone you believe doesn't even exist? That will tell you something about atheists. While many folks end up in the secularist or unsure agnostic category, today we are hearing more and more strident atheists and their voices are getting much more publicity.

Another ironic thing, I found is many do raise their atheism to the level of a religion, with 'freethought" organizations and other publications fulfilling their need to tell the rest of us with the zeal of the most aspiring missionary, that there is no God, and all the troubles in the world prove it! Richard Dawkins and Madalyn Murray O'Hair, are some of the top examples. O'Hair is deceased as a victim of horrible crime while Dawkins is about to be on his death bed, and has issued a prebuttal to any would-be death bed conversions telling us he is going to have a tape recorder switched on so no one can lie and say he converted.

Odd that...if you believe you cease to exist, and all that is left is your body to rot and turn into dust, why does it even matter? Here's a secret, as someone who was an atheist or if we want to be technical an "agnostic"; many inside are indeed wondering in the back of the mind if they are wrong. Regarding young atheists or those who reject God's existence, why do they yell "Oh God!" or "God help me!" when in bad trouble? By the way I did. There are indeed no atheists in foxholes.

Atheists focus on "reason" as one of their prevailing cries, I remember reading this word over and over in Free Inquiry magazine, and many others where "reason" and "logic" were used as words, basically claiming "superior intellect" to wipe away the competition. Dealing with online Jesuits; there will be familiarity with this debate "technique". Usually even the need to make this claim, points to some serious misdirection.

Many atheists are smart people, and there are the sorts who turn to "science" as well as it's own "religion". Science has its limitations, aren't we discovering more of those day by day? The attempt to delay aging and death, the more problems being created in the lab [especially bio-engineering labs], have taken us far from the halycon days of the 50's when science was going to "save us.'There are scientists who ponder the existence of God. One thing, atheists often study religion and the Bible [to disprove it], and often know more about religion [or at least its organizational structures and rituals] more then the participants themselves. Smart people but without faith or wisdom from God, to make sense of things.

This made me laugh...[click to make bigger]

If you truly believe there is no God, why fight it so much? One thing about atheists, at least in the case of some, they really want to know what the truth is, and do not just want to accept whatever they are told. This video, was made by someone called The THINKING ATHEIST, I would like to sit down with this guy and have a few discussions. He sure is down on those who believe in praying. How does he know it doesn't work? Well see the video for yourself. Truly hope he is actually THINKING and not stopped in his tracks for good. God will reward the honest seeker, who desires the actual truth.

None of this is new to me, I used to SAY the same things this guy did in my youth. All the claims that God does not listen, that the problems in the world present God not caring or evil in the world proves God does not exist are all familiar. What happened for me, is from the Bible and with help of the Holy Spirit, I was able to find out the truth. Many atheists, have a false representation of "Christianity" in their minds, many come to see God as like children do Santa Claus, there to fulfill their needs and every request on the spot. One thing, God does sometimes say NO! It is all misunderstandings of God wrapped up in one confusing ball.

While many atheists arrive at their atheist beliefs via intellectual inquiry and rejecting hypocrisy in the churches, others reject even the existence of God based on rebellion, their back is turned on God, saying "well you do NOT exist, leave me alone!" From this article, an interesting claim:

"In studies on college students, atheists and agnostics reported more anger at God during their lifetimes than believers."

I read many of Madalyn Murray O'Hair's writings when I was young, she was a very angry person, who was just as dogmatic and rigid as any Christian she complained about advancing her American Atheist organization and this theme ran through her writing. Her son would grow up to become a Christian preacher [do not agree with all of his beliefs] but wrote a very revealing biography about growing up with his mother in the 1982 book, "My Life Without God".

It was not a story of a happy life and peaceful relationships, but the exact opposite.

The Holy Spirit will lead a person to faith, but one of my wake up calls especially out of total unbelief came from reading the book of Job, This book in the Bible helped me to understand why things happen in this world: why evil is present, breaking out of the satanic trap set which many atheists fall into, where they ask the ever prevailing question..."How can there be a God in a world so evil"? It is a honest question and not wrong to ask, but one which the Bible definitely answers.

One of those answers is Job 38 which helped to wake me up. It helped me to understand Who God truly is it expanded the vision of God beyond the false one given to people,[ look at the video link above in the article], the atheist seems to want God to be like a magic 'genie' answering requests on demand instead of understanding Who God is. Keep witnessing to atheists introducing the gospel and God to them. "Words without knowledge" are definitely becoming prevalent out there.

Job 38 (King James Version)

Job 38
1Then the LORD answered Job out of the whirlwind, and said,

2Who is this that darkeneth counsel by words without knowledge?

3Gird up now thy loins like a man; for I will demand of thee, and answer thou me.

4Where wast thou when I laid the foundations of the earth? declare, if thou hast understanding.

5Who hath laid the measures thereof, if thou knowest? or who hath stretched the line upon it?

6Whereupon are the foundations thereof fastened? or who laid the corner stone thereof;

7When the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy?

8Or who shut up the sea with doors, when it brake forth, as if it had issued out of the womb?

9When I made the cloud the garment thereof, and thick darkness a swaddlingband for it,

10And brake up for it my decreed place, and set bars and doors,

11And said, Hitherto shalt thou come, but no further: and here shall thy proud waves be stayed?

12Hast thou commanded the morning since thy days; and caused the dayspring to know his place;

13That it might take hold of the ends of the earth, that the wicked might be shaken out of it?

14It is turned as clay to the seal; and they stand as a garment.

15And from the wicked their light is withholden, and the high arm shall be broken.

16Hast thou entered into the springs of the sea? or hast thou walked in the search of the depth?

17Have the gates of death been opened unto thee? or hast thou seen the doors of the shadow of death?

18Hast thou perceived the breadth of the earth? declare if thou knowest it all.

19Where is the way where light dwelleth? and as for darkness, where is the place thereof,

20That thou shouldest take it to the bound thereof, and that thou shouldest know the paths to the house thereof?

21Knowest thou it, because thou wast then born? or because the number of thy days is great?

22Hast thou entered into the treasures of the snow? or hast thou seen the treasures of the hail,

23Which I have reserved against the time of trouble, against the day of battle and war?

24By what way is the light parted, which scattereth the east wind upon the earth?

25Who hath divided a watercourse for the overflowing of waters, or a way for the lightning of thunder;

26To cause it to rain on the earth, where no man is; on the wilderness, wherein there is no man;

27To satisfy the desolate and waste ground; and to cause the bud of the tender herb to spring forth?

28Hath the rain a father? or who hath begotten the drops of dew?

29Out of whose womb came the ice? and the hoary frost of heaven, who hath gendered it?

30The waters are hid as with a stone, and the face of the deep is frozen.

31Canst thou bind the sweet influences of Pleiades, or loose the bands of Orion?

32Canst thou bring forth Mazzaroth in his season? or canst thou guide Arcturus with his sons?

33Knowest thou the ordinances of heaven? canst thou set the dominion thereof in the earth?

34Canst thou lift up thy voice to the clouds, that abundance of waters may cover thee?

35Canst thou send lightnings, that they may go and say unto thee, Here we are?

36Who hath put wisdom in the inward parts? or who hath given understanding to the heart?

37Who can number the clouds in wisdom? or who can stay the bottles of heaven,

38When the dust groweth into hardness, and the clods cleave fast together?

39Wilt thou hunt the prey for the lion? or fill the appetite of the young lions,

40When they couch in their dens, and abide in the covert to lie in wait?

41Who provideth for the raven his food? when his young ones cry unto God, they wander for lack of meat.

If anything, these verses should get an atheist to think.......

Rick Warren Teams Up With Swedenborg Cult Follower Dr. OZ

Well here is the video, for the Daniel Plan being held at the Saddleback church. While some health information is important shouldn't the focus in a church be on the spiritual rather then the temporal body? Does this mean the youngest, most healthy, athletic and thinnest will be the most honored in the church, don't women especially face that enough already in the world? Notice in the ad most everyone is young, and lithe, just like the world of television.

Don't forget Dr. Oz used to appear on Oprah, and we have seen where years worth of failed diets has led this unhealthy culture. Ask Oprah how successful dieting is. Warren should be preparing his church members for what is going to come from the declining USA economy. I suspect people who are scourging for pennies to buy carrots, some ramen noodles or hot dogs for dinner, are not the ones affording this church diet. Those trying to keep their house from being foreclosed on are not worrying about if they can use any olive oil on their baked salmon and arugula. Also remember biblical fasting is a different matter then the world's dieting programs, which too often are used to make money.

Dr. Oz is a Swedenborg follower as exposed in this article "Rick Warren Teams Up with Swedenborg Follower Dr Oz". I know false religion can be really promoted via health. The other two doctors on board, have even more dubious religious backgrounds:

The other two speakers are Dr. Daniel Amen and Dr. Mark Hyman. Dr. Amen teaches tantric sex, a Hindu mystical approach to sex. He teaches Eastern religion meditation and energy-based Reiki, a New Age practice. Dr. Mark Hyman promotes mystical meditation based on Buddhist principles.

One fad, sweeping the churches is the Daniel Fast or "Plan". I do not know if the one Warren is pushing is the same exact program but this one according to this website, is vegetarian, at least in the first few weeks.

Another group I know of is the vegetarian Hallelujah Acres. This place has a live-in community and even "health ministers" that will counsel with you over the phone long distance. One of my friends joined it, while some of the advice was worthwhile--[fruits and vegetables are really good for you] the connection of diet and health to spirituality really bother me. It presented itself as Christian, but pushed very subtle New Age teachings. Christian vegetarianism I have found always rather odd, given this verse:

Luke 24:41 And while they yet believed not for joy, and wondered, he said unto them, Have ye here any meat?

42 And they gave him a piece of a broiled fish, and of an honeycomb.

43 And he took it, and did eat before them.

Warren's program is not vegetarian as far as I know, but one has to wonder about the focus on physical health over spiritual health here. Aren't there gyms, health food stores and other community programs to take up that slack? Satan knows those who are desperate to improve their health or conquer health problems can be easily mislead. The "holistic" health world, with its naturopaths and more can be a trap. By the way, I go to health food stores, and believe some herbal remedies are worthwhile, but it is a place a Christian needs to be very careful.

While some advice given in these type of groups is worthwhile such as avoiding high-fat food or processed additives, it leads back to focus on the self. It buys into the lookist culture, that delivers the same answers that haven't worked so far in a culture with a shortening life spans and increasingly toxic and sinful lifestyles.

Is the Pope THE Antichrist?

Is the Pope THE Antichrist? From the first day, one is born again, they discern the papacy is wicked and Antichrist in character, and I did too, but only recently have I come more to the conclusion that the Pope is or a final Pope will be THE Antichrist. The Papacy itself is Antichrist in itself. The office is Antichrist. For years, as trained by many premill teachers, we were all told to accept the Pope as the possible false prophet while keeping our eyes peeled for the political world leader: a would be Hitler on steroids, as the Antichrist? After all this is what Left Behind books pointed to, and every famous Bible teacher out there from Van Impe to LaHaye, have insisted on.

This is one of those articles, where I am still exploring some things [this is an area, where I am still studying and learning, so if anyone wants to add corrections, or more information in the comments, go ahead] Here is a caveat: yes I believe there are many truly born again people who see the Pope as a would be false prophet but wish to bring up these things to get people to think. Keep in prayer for God to show you the truth.

One thing I discovered was many Reformers came to the conclusion that the Pope was the Antichrist, [or at least the office]. This includes just about every Reformer. Luther said of the Pope: "The Pope should be recognized as the very Antichrist". Knox said of him: "The Pope is Antichrist, and his seat is that of Satan himself".

I do not think it is too extreme to assume, that the continuing "Counter-Reformation" via Rome is still in full swing. One can examine websites who expose the interaction of even world governments with Rome. These are few in number but they expose the astonishing involvement of the Pope and his men including Jesuits with global elites and governmental figures and it goes beyond just diplomatic meanderings and far deeper then that. By the way there is a reason, most of the politicians, kings and queens wear black [check out the video even of the visiting church leaders too] before the Pope it is a sign of "deference" to papal authority.

Christians who know their Bible understand why Pope Benedict basically called for world government in his last encyclical, and what it means for many of our politicians to basically be bowing before the Pope such as Jeb Bush and Pelosi. The evidence is growing that many of these politicians are no longer serving the interests of the American people but a grander scheme.

Many if not the majority of alternative media and "conspiracy world" websites, make sure to always point away from the Vatican placing all blame on: the "aliens" [the Nephilim], the "Jews", The "Illuminati" [founded by Jesuits] , The Masons [which actually the Masonic orders are ruled from Rome], the Protoccols of Zion [which were actually written by the Jesuits ] are all blamed as the mother of all abominations and as all running the show, when in all the research I've done so far everything leads home to Rome [or basically what is "modern" Babylon Rev. 17:5]. Wickedness doesn't limit itself to any one group of people, the Bible says there is none that doeth good...[Romans 3;12]. This does not diminish the role that Satan, fallen angels or demons or other servants of "the father are lies" are playing on earth either but the Vatican is playing a special role.

For example one big "conspiracy" researcher, has on his radio and Internet show, Catholics like Charlie Sheen and Pat Buchanan and warns us about the march of the new world order and police state, but ask some who have tried to bring up the Vatican on his radio show, the results aren't so good. Others still point to the Jews over and over [who Satan desires to lead away from Jesus Christ, and pit the whole world against] as well as the "Illuminati". While I trust very few websites, even this one, that ask questions about why so much of the alternative media covers for the Roman Catholicism church, if one understands what the Papacy is really about, then they will understand why so many play cover-up. Could many of the false teachings regarding end times be part of the cover-up? [Think of the last two blog entries I've done with those who preach there will be a return to animal sacrifices in the millennial kingdom and who desire for the Jewish temple to be rebuild.]

There definitely seems to be some planned out camouflage and diversion going on! The poor Catholic people themselves are deceived regarding the Pope, but what to is there to say about so called "Christian" leaders who always point away from the Pope? Do not forget that today, it is only the very few Christians who acknowledge what the papacy is about as most churches are eager to join with Rome. Why wouldn't this plan be pointing away from the Pope as the Antichrist? Why did we go from having many historical Protestant churches pointing to the Pope as the Antichrist, and the RCC as the harlot, to today's messages that the Pope is either a
"a model of moral strength" as Franklin Graham tells us or more of a bit player in end time prophecies?

One researcher who I definitely do NOT agree with on racial matters: [he goes against Acts 17:26 as the link from another observer describes], fifth monarchy and many other things: [always be discerning when researching] he does tell some truths about the Pope: summing up the immense degree of papal power......

Pope Benedict XVI is OPENLY the most powerful man on earth. This man, SECRETLY directed by Jesuit Superior General Adolfo Nicolas advised by his Ten Assistants, rules Washington, D.C., Chicago, New York City, Los Angeles,Ottawa, Mexico City, Rio de Janeiro, Sydney, Tokyo, Beijing, Moscow, Berlin, Paris, Copenhagen, Amsterdam, Brussels, Lisbon, Madrid, London, Dublin, Cairo, Johannesburg, Jerusalem, Beirut, Damascus, Baghdad, and every other political/commercial center of importance on earth. This man, advised by his Jesuit Confessor, directs Rome’s Unified Divine-Right Papal Knighthoods; its Unified International Freemasonic/Iluminati Secret Society Network; its Unified International Intelligence Community (including Interpol), its Unified International Banking Community, its Unified International Organized Crime Syndicate, its Unified International Islamic Terrorist Network (having replaced Rome’s 20th Century International Communist Terrorist Network, having replaced Rome’s 19th Century International Anarchist Terrorist Network), and its Unified International Communications Network, all of which grovels at the feet of the Black Pope’s International Tridentine Counter-Reformation Jesuit Intelligence/Terrorist Apparatus.

So how come, so few Christians ponder the possibilities of the Pope being the Antichrist or ponder the realities of the world power of the Vatican? Why do some seem to think the Antichrist is going to show up wearing red horns, a cape and carrying a pitchfork, instead of presenting himself as a "good and holy man" and as a counterfeit "Christian"? I know Jack Chick and Alberto Rivera warned against the Pope as the Antichrist: While they are pretrib regarding the Rapture which I disagree with, Chick seems to be the only one out there, outside of the very few old school Protestant and other fundamentalist Christian groups pointing to the Pope as the Antichrist.

Here is what Alberto Rivera said:"Jesus spoke of many false Christs coming in His name that would deceive many. John tells us that even now there are many antichrists, [1 John 2:18 and the apostle Paul speaks of the final antichrist which is to come. I believe this is fulfilled in the dynasty of the papacy and that the antichrist will be the pope who is in power when Jesus Christ returns" [page 22: Four Horsemen Alberto Part 5]

As most Christians know, almost every well known TV preacher and well-known published teachers out there, focuses on the great world leader that will arise and take over the planet. There are websites, that even have pointed to Obama as the Antichrist, and those of us who were old enough remember when "Ronald Wilson Reagan" [6 letters in each name] was the floated candidate, as well as both Bushes and a variety of other candidates. Other teachers even well-meaning warn of a great world leader arising out of the Middle East.

So What about the Pope?

The RCC claims this about the Pope: 937 The Pope enjoys, by divine institution, "supreme, full, immediate, and universal power in the care of souls" (CD 2). Here do not forget that Rome teaches the Pope is to be called "The Holy Father" which by the way is incredible blasphemy considering Jesus told us "call no man father" and knowing John 17:11. We know the warnings about Babylon point to Rome [more on this later, and to the seven hills of Rome]. Priests [which the Pope is a priest as well though the "highest ranking one"] are called "alter Christus' in the Catholic religion: which is Latin for "another christ".

Don't forget what the Bible warns about false christs and those who would bring "another gospel", the very definition of the Antichrist is someone who comes taking the "place" of Jesus Christ but who is counterfeit.

We know the last few Popes especially have preached "peace" while ushering all religions and the majority of churches under the one world religion Catholic umbrella for dialogue and unity. Included in this message is for the United Nations to help make this happen over and over again, with appeals for more power and controls, more unity and the "common good". Lets not forget that Pope Benedict called for a UN with teeth. He stated: "There is an urgent need for a true world political authority."

The same messages come forth, and they all are centered on the same one world 'one mind of the beast" Antichrist theme the Pope pushes: "The need emerged to elaborate a new world political and economic order, but at the same time and above all, a spiritual and cultural one, that is, renewed humanism," Benedict said.

Those in the know, understand that the above shows a hand sign...Now let's look at scripture: [Lets have the pictures and scripture speak for themselves ]

Dan 8:25 And through his policy also he shall cause craft to prosper in his hand; and he shall magnify [himself] in his heart, and by peace shall destroy many: he shall also stand up against the Prince of princes; but he shall be broken without hand.

2 Thess 2: 3Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;

4Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.

Rev 13:7 And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.

Just consider...What about the Pope?

An Insane Teaching: Animal Sacrifices Will Be Reinstituted?

One of the most insane teachings, I have encountered are those who believe Jesus Christ will reinstitute animal sacrifices in the "millennial" kingdom. This is tied to the last article on this blog, where they look forward to the temple being rebuilt in Jerusalem [even if used for some time by the Antichrist]. They back this up with Chapter 43 in the book of Ezekiel namely Ezekiel 43:40-48.

This is some immense bunk being sold in the hyper-dispensationalist-Zionist "evangelical" community. See here, from someone who believes this way, they seriously believe the animal sacrifices will be brought back supposedly to deal with sin in the millennial kingdom. Here the over-riding error comes in, based on the temple teachings, that I discussed earlier:

"The passage that is the most extensive, giving the greatest detail, is Ezekiel 43:18-46:24. It should be noted that this is part of a greater passage dealing with the millennial kingdom, a passage that begins with Ezekiel 40. In Ezekiel 40, the Lord begins to give details of the temple that will exist during
the millennial kingdom, a temple that dwarfs all other temples previously built, even Herod’s temple that was quite large, which existed during the earthly ministry of Christ.

After giving details concerning the size and appearance of the temple and the altar, the Lord then begins to give detailed instruction as to the animal sacrifices that will be offered (Ezekiel 43:18-27). In chapter 44, the Lord gives instructions as to who will be offering sacrifices to the Lord. The Lord states that all of the Levites will not be offering blood and fat to the Lord due to previous sin; it will be those from the lineage of Zadok (verse 15). Chapters 45 and 46 continue to mention that animal sacrifices will be made."

Not every pretrib or dispensationalist teacher believes this but there are many that do, Walvrood, J Dwight Pentecost, Tim LaHaye, [see here too] as well as many others. According to this website, Chuck Smith has preached this and is quoted as saying:

“Even as we have our communion service in remembrance of what Jesus did in his death for our sins, so when sacrifices are re-instituted in the kingdom age, they will not be for the purpose of putting away sin, but they will be memorial offerings by which we will be reminded of that sacrifice by which the sins were put away and we will be looking back at the cross and the sacrifices that was made there by Jesus Christ.” (Ezekiel 40-48 (1979-82 Audio), Chuck Smith, Start: 22:40 End: 27:45)

To be honest, this idea of "new" animal sacrifices is beyond bizarre. It actually moves everyone back to animal sacrifices that Jesus Christ had done away with.

Eph 5:2 And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour.

Now let's look at even more scripture:

Hebrews 10 tells us the sacrifice of Jesus Christ is FOREVER!

Hbr 10:11 ¶ And every priest standeth daily ministering and offering oftentimes the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins:

Hbr 10:12 But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God;

Hbr 10:13 From henceforth expecting till his enemies be made his footstool.

Hbr 10:14 For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified.

Back in Hebrews 7, we read:

Hbr 7:27 Who needeth not daily, as those high priests, to offer up sacrifice, first for his own sins, and then for the people's: for this he did once, when he offered up himself.

Hbr 7:28 For the law maketh men high priests which have infirmity; but the word of the oath, which was since the law, [maketh] the Son, who is consecrated for evermore.

There are many other verses that speak against this too:

Mat 12:6 But I say unto you, That in this place is [one] greater than the temple.

Rev 21:22 And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it.

Hbr 10:6 In burnt offerings and [sacrifices] for sin thou hast had no pleasure.
Hbr 10:8 Above when he said, Sacrifice and offering and burnt offerings and [offering] for sin thou wouldest not, neither hadst pleasure [therein]; which are offered by the law;

Talmudic Jews and Kabbalists WANT THE JEWISH TEMPLE SACRIFICES BACK because they do not believe in Jesus Christ as the Messiah. What are we to make of "Christians" who teach they will get their wish one day? Even here the Catholic flavor of never-ending sacrifices [of the Catholic Mass] being needed for "sin" via their false priesthood is present instead of trusting in the blood of Jesus Christ. This is a slap against Jesus and the shed blood of the Lamb and blasphemy beyond measure. To me this smacks of definite infiltrators who wish to deceive.

Those Who Want the Temple Rebuilt!

[the video is from CBN: I am not a supporter but wanted to show the video illustrating the plans regarding the rebuilding of the Temple of Jerusalem]

Many don't know about this, but there are Christians leaders promoting false end times beliefs who have given help to organizations that want to rebuild the Temple and other related activities. You know the Jewish temple? The one that was destroyed in 70 AD as prophesied by Jesus Christ?

Well here, the conglomeration of extreme false pre-Trib beliefs married with Christian Zionism, has led some "Christian" leaders over the years to support the rebuilding of the Jewish temple. Instead of leading the Jews to Jesus, they want to lead them back to Old Testament temple rituals. This is mind boggling stuff. Tied to this, are those teachers who are now teaching one of the most insane teachings I've ever seen that animal sacrifices are supposed to be brought back during the "millennial kingdom'. [I will post on that in a later entry] Remember all of this ties into other deceptions, those who do not understand the difference between the spiritual Israel in the Bible [Galatians 6:16] and secular Israel, the nation, and who are deceived by false teachers.

I found out some months ago via research online that both Chuck Smith-the founder of Calvary Chapel, and Missler as well as other leaders were involved years ago in some of these 'rebuild the Jewish temple' pursuits. Why on earth would any Christian want to hasten the rebuilding of the Jewish temple in Jerusalem? Many believe this is supposed to be where the antichrist will take over and the abominations of desolation will take place. I have studied for myself even the evidence that the Papal desire for control of Jerusalem is immense, who knows what deceptions are planned? Tied to this stuff is many false Pre-trib teachings and teachings about 'Israel' [read this blog entry for more context]

Mar 13:14 ¶ But when ye shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing where it ought not, (let him that readeth understand,) then let them that be in Judaea flee to the mountains:

This article sums up, what is being done here.

The rebuilding of the Temple has played an important part in Christian pre-millenialist Messianic expectations. Such an event would for them signify the imminent arrival of the messianic age. Following the Six-Day War in 1967 and the Israeli conquest of the historical parts of Jerusalem, many pre-millenialist Christians have expected the Jews to build the Temple and reinstate the sacrifices prescribed in the Bible. The rise in the 1970s of Jewish groups that have advocated, and at times made preparations for, the rebuilding of the Temple has encouraged Christian pre-millenialists. Evangelical leaders and organizations, which represent millions of conservative Christians, have lent their support to the state of Israel as the nation that prepares the ground for the arrival of the Messiah. Some Christian pre-millenialists have taken steps to help hasten the rebuilding of the Temple and consequently the coming of the Messiah. They have helped finance Jewish groups that have called for the rebuilding of the Temple. They have also searched for the Lost Ark, helped breed red heifers whose ashes are needed in order to enable Jews to enter the Temple Mount, and researched the exact location of the Temple.

Concerning Chuck Smith, back in the 1980's, he connected with a man named Stanley Goldfoot who was the contact between The Temple Mount Faithful [a Jewish group desiring to rebuild the Jewish temple] which Goldfoot helped founded and Christian evangelical leaders. Stanley Goldfoot was invited to lecture in Chuck Smith's church and collections were taken for Goldfoot's activities. [see here]

Chuck Missler co-hosted during the 1990s, the annual International Conference on Temple Mount in Jerusalem while heading tours to Israel. These were co-hosted with Lambert Dolphin, a man who actively supports the rebuilding of the temple. Right from Lambert Dolphin's own website, he spells out this support.

See here for yourself: what Lambert Dolphin has written:[description of letter from his own website]

"I would like to see the Temple rebuilt, but am not a member of the Jerusalem Temple Foundation nor do I wish to participate in the building planning or program. This effort, I believe, is part of the Jewish religious economy, not the calling of God for the church. Of course I would like to see the Temple mount explored scientifically and non-destructively apart from all religious and political considerations.

I believe freedom of worship and prayer on the Temple Mount should now be extended to include Jews and Christians and that by faith the Jewish people should regain administration of the Temple Mount as part of your own legitimate religious and Biblical heritage given you by God"

Chuck Missler and Chuck Smith donated money for Lambert Dolphin who is a physicist to fund an X-ray exploration of the Temple Mount in 1983. You can see here that this study was immense.

"Consider the following report by Robert Bauval concerning a Stanford Institute (SRI) project in Israel:

'The funds were partially put up by two ministers of the Christian Church in the USA, Pastors Chuck Smith and Chuck Missler. In April 1983 a seven-man team from SRI headed by Dolphin arrived at Tel Aviv airport. They had brought with them the latest and most sophisticated remote sensing equipment including high-frequency seismic sounders, high resolution resistivity electrodes, and cart mounted ground-penetrating radar -- the sort of state-of-the-art high-tech arsenal that would normally causes the Israeli security police at Tel Aviv airport to go on red-alert. The fact that SRI came with heavy US military credentials may have, however, eased the way'...

Dolphin’s main target was the Temple Mount in Jerusalem"

To me, it is frightening that any Christian religious leader would desire a temple for false Jewish old testament rituals to be erected or who would want to serve in any capacity in helping that along. Why deny Jesus Christ in seeking to have anyone return to those rituals that were done away with Jesus by His sacrifice on the cross? Trying to "speed things up" for God is also troubling, as well as just the overall attitudes. Rev 11:1 does not point to a temple on earth. The deceptions here are deep. One statement of Chuck Smith as reported by this website, has always deeply disturbed me.

Pastor Chuck Smith, Dolphin's mentor at the Calvary Baptist [sic]Church, when asked by EIR whether he had any compunctions about unleashing a holy war that would lead to the possible extermination of millions of Jews and Muslims, replied, "Frankly, no, because it is all part of Biblical prophesy."

This month, January 2011, a new conference is being held called Prophecy: Understanding the End Times: Israel, Islam, and Biblical Prophecy and Lambert Dolphin is invited along with Tim LaHaye, David Hocking, Bill Koenig, Chuck Missler, Gary Kah, Jack Hibbs who is a Calvary Chapel pastor and others. In the list of speakers, scroll down, they admit one of Lambert Dolphin's activities:

"Another of Lambert's special interests is the Temple Mount in Jerusalem. He helps maintain The Temple Mount site on the Internet." Many of the topics concern the Rapture and Israel.

This is all very odd. I've discussed the false teachings before in the evangelical world, but what I don't get, is these pre-trib folks, believe the antichrist is going to take power in this temple, why on earth, would they support hurrying that along or do ANYTHING to hasten it? More and more, the depth of deception here, regarding bible prophecy has grown. What is even weirder, is that there are other groups out there invested in rebuilding Solomon's temple, the freemasons and templars are among them.

Freemasonry has always planned to gain control of the Temple Mount so they can rebuild Solomon's Temple. As soon as they rebuild this Temple, their Masonic Christ will appear on the earth, claiming to be the Jewish Messiah for whom Israel has long been awaiting. This "Christ" will be the Biblical Antichrist.

For me, the excuses I've heard from some online, "its going to happen anyway" in prophecy [as people are pointed to an temple on EARTH with a misinterpretation of Revelation 11: 1 which is talking about God's spiritual temple] don't explain the monies given or the help of an active Temple rebuilding supporters. This idea of Christian leaders supporting and financing anti-Christian religious rituals, makes no sense, is irrational and speaks of knowing deception along the line.

These 'Christian" pretrib teachers are not the only ones, who have gotten excited about the rebuilding of the new Jewish temple. Other false teachers line up to give the same messages:

The Jewish Temple must be rebuilt before the return of Jesus Christ." - Jack Van Impe.

"The Temple is the last sign that needs to fall into place before events irreversibly speed toward the return of Christ." - Hal Lindsey

"Both the Old and the New Testaments say there is no possibility for Jesus to come except that there is a temple waiting for Him." - Jan Van Der Hoeven, founder, International Christian Embassy.

Even weirder is when you find out Christians are helping to finance the breeding of spotless red heifers. These heifers are needed for the animal sacrifices in the would be temple.

In 1996, thanks in part to a cattle-breeding program set up in Israel with the help of Texas ranchers who are fundamentalist Christians, a red heifer was born. There was immense excitement among messianists of the Israeli religious Right, and their American Christian counterparts. The world media covered it as a joke, but it wasn't funny to David Landau, columnist for the Israeli daily Haaretz. He called the red heifer "a four-legged bomb" that could "set the entire region on fire."

This is a direct affront to the blood of Jesus. Then add to that those who are so deceived in thinking they can push things along for God or in other words make sure prophecies are fulfilled in the Middle East; hastening things along. Supporting false religious rituals means folks have massively lost their way. False beliefs about the Rapture, play into this as well, why care if one's actions lead to nuclear holocaust, if they are no longer "here" supposedly? We know that many false political aims and deceptions are related to these teachings, as these teachers point to an "earthly" country: secular Israel, when Jesus Christ taught "My Kingdom Is Not of This World". I believe too, that those who all desire for the temple to be rebuilt, also seem to be going to bat for the Vatican as their power-brokering for control of Jerusalem is revealed and evangelicals jump on board in support of the Pope's new Middle Eastern "crusades". Jewish people here too are deceived, instead of being given the gospel, false wicked teachers preach for them to gather in the same place they warn will have great holocaust coming and have Jesus Christ denied to them where they are told to bring back the rituals of their religion instead of trusting in Jesus Christ for their salvation even if indirectly by these actions.

One can tell bible prophecy itself is being twisted for the aims of the wicked. These teachers are NOT to be trusted.

The true temple of God is the Body of Jesus Christ:

1Cr 3:16 Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and [that] the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?

1Cr 3:17 If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which [temple] ye are.

2Cr 6:16 And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in [them]; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.

Pope Announces New Assisi "Meeting of Faiths"

Pope Benedict has announced a new Assisi meeting, a new meeting of all religions to come together, and this time world leaders to focus on "peace" via "all religions":

Celebrating World Peace Day on Saturday, Benedict said that he would travel as a pilgrim to Assisi in October, inviting Christians of other confessions, leaders of other world faiths “and, ideally, all men of good will, to recall the historic gesture sought by my predecessor and to solemnly renew the commitment of the faithful of all religious to live their own religious faith as a service for the cause of peace.”

I remember the meeting of 2002, which I studied extensively, finding out the Assisi meeting in 1986 and other one world religion enterprises of the Catholic church, helped to wake me up about the RCC. I have written about some of these issues already on this blog in my article "The One World Religion: The Beast Gets Ready for Delusion".

At Assisi, the Vatican directly sponsored prayer to false "gods"-evil spirits, and within the Assisi building, Voduns were even exhorted to give liquor libations to their false spirits, and Shintos to do their rituals. [Click on link to see the pictures, right from the Vatican website] Since the Catholic church teaches that God works even via pagan religions, why wouldn't they invite every false religion to the same Mystery Babylon table? Unsaid, is how is peace supposed to come through false spirits? The Bible warns us:

1Cr 10:21 Ye cannot drink the cup of the Lord, and the cup of devils: ye cannot be partakers of the Lord's table, and of the table of devils.

The Popes really have gathered the entire group false religions and "daughters" under their yoke. Here watch, how many religious leaders of different denominations bow before Pope Benedict when he visited the USA, some time ago. Almost every major church denomination is represented.

"It is Well With My Soul"

This is one of my favorite Christian songs among others, this video tells the story of what the songwriter Horatio Spafford went through and how his faith sustained him in writing the song "It is Well With My Soul":

When peace, like a river, attendeth my way,
When sorrows like sea billows roll;
Whatever my lot, Thou has taught me to say,
It is well, it is well, with my soul.
It is well, with my soul,
It is well, it is well, with my soul.
Though Satan should buffet, though trials should come,
Let this blest assurance control,
That Christ has regarded my helpless estate,
And hath shed His own blood for my soul.
My sin, oh, the bliss of this glorious thought!
My sin, not in part but the whole,
Is nailed to the cross, and I bear it no more,
Praise the Lord, praise the Lord, O my soul!
For me, be it Christ, be it Christ hence to live:
If Jordan above me shall roll,
No pang shall be mine, for in death as in life
Thou wilt whisper Thy peace to my soul.
But, Lord, ’tis for Thee, for Thy coming we wait,
The sky, not the grave, is our goal;
Oh, trump of the angel! Oh, voice of the Lord!
Blessed hope, blessed rest of my soul!
And Lord, haste the day when my faith shall be sight,
The clouds be rolled back as a scroll;
The trump shall resound, and the Lord shall descend,
Even so, it is well with my soul.

Ex-Catholic Speaks of Finding God's Grace

I remember when I left the Catholic church, and one reason I am posting this, is when I became born again, I realized my salvation was to lie in the righteousness of Jesus Christ.

Rom 10:4 For Christ [is] the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.

Like her, I read the book of Romans and Hebrews too. I finally saw through the false "good person" rhetoric especially pertaining to the Catholic church. Don't get me wrong here, remember I have written against the false gospels in the evangelical world where a watered down gospel rules. Good works are the fruit of real faith. Conviction for the Christian is a life-long process. We come to salvation realizing what we are compared to the perfection of God. During the Christian's life, the Holy Spirit will convict you of many things.

Politics and the Christian: Deceit of This World

Christian Triumphalism is a phrase I have seen used, and it fits well, this adds to the premise, for those Christians who believe Christians are to conquer this world and "take over" and to create the "cultural mandate". Many good people are getting swept up in this stuff, their intentions are based in desiring the world obey God, and for morality to stop it's downward decline, but sadly this is a way that is only leading to corruption. We are called to love even our "enemies" in the Bible-[Matt 5:44], this just doesn't apply to those who share the same politics!

As I have studied Dominionism, Rushdoony is a name that keeps popping up. Rushdoony said "“The cultural mandate is thus the obligation of covenant man to subdue the earth and to exercise dominion over it under God (Gen. 1:26-28).” and then added this in his book The Institutes of Biblical Law: " “All enemies of Christ in this fallen world must be conquered" Lets not forget that top religious leaders out there such as Pat Robertson support Rushdoony's teachings.
He helped influence the march of Christians into the political arena to 'change the world' instead of following the biblical mandate for Christians to preach to the lost. Rushdoony was a top member of the Council of National Policy as well [discussed before on this blog], and Gary North, is his son-in-law.

That seems to be the prevailing cry of the Dominionists today and the "Christian" right. Those who literally desire to 'conquer the world for Christ" [the gospel is supposed to be not about seeking political power but knowing people will change via the Holy Spirit and regenerated hearts. This is where they have gone off the rails! As I have written before on this blog both right and left are a lie, and in examining the right, it is interesting to see how these leaders have led people to reject all compassion, with more defenses of the powerful and global elites, with the praise of mammon over everything else.

I believe at this point in the game, all politics are corrupt, even the third parties seem to be owned. The Christian will do better to stay out of politics. I don't mean never vote again, pray and do as you feel led. You are not sinning to vote for town mayor but realize the dangers inherent in politics out there. Here the temptation to leave the sacrificial love of Jesus Christ is strong in seeking worldly solutions to problems. Politics and political arguments can lead into major sin. Here this verse, even points to some of the pitfalls of politics [people all battling to get their needs met] where their "God is their belly" and who "mind earthly things".

Phl 3:18 (For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, [that they are] the enemies of the cross of Christ:

Phl 3:19 Whose end [is] destruction, whose God [is their] belly, and [whose] glory [is] in their shame, who mind earthly things.)

Phl 3:20 For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ:

The new world order is a reality, and politics to be blunt ARE dirty in most places. Politics can lead one into carnality even the so called "right" sided version. The spiderwebs of power are immense, and the more they are examined, the more one sees the connections to wickedness. I've been on 'conservative political" message boards, one which I left behind, on this particular one praise of Sarah Palin and Glenn Beck ruled, no criticism of Mormonism was allowed, the religion sections ruled by cultists of even an exceptional nature--never met so many kabbalists in one place, and racists ruled, using intense discussions about ghetto crime [with many having been it's victims] to steer conversations to very carnal places.

The Christians job on this earth is not to "fight the liberals" but to preach the gospel. While we may stand against evil itself joining the "political fight" is just a pathway to perdition. Even here while a Christian wants to be aware of what is going on, even websites, that warn about things that are really happening, one needs to be careful! The "death panel" warnings definitely have validity now, many of these websites are full of fear-mongering, I don't think all those articles on how the oil spill would lead to the South being destroyed via endless acid rain helped anyone and just created a lot of fear and distress. Christians need to be awake and aware but also realize there are a lot out there, who have an interest in keeping everyone afraid as possible even if they have to lie. It increases their power! Watching the news today, "wars and rumors of wars" [Mar 13:7] could not ring more true.

I have encountered people who really cannot think outside of the LEFT vs RIGHT BOX. Tell people that people should help the homeless and poor and some in those circles scream "Socialist!" What is funny is why the bankers got trillions in tax-payer 'welfare', this 'conservative" guy focuses on the poor as usual instead. This of course applies to the other side too, where indoctrination about certain key topics [abortion, gay rights, etc] is familiar to everyone. No one's mind is going to be changed via Theocracy though!

Here though, do not follow the political way in getting angry at people where endless arguments spiral down into fruitless endeavors. Today, I understand how strong the indoctrination is, having had the times where I was involved. Getting caught up in political fervor is easy to do. There is nothing wrong in warning but here we must not be prideful elevating ourselves. I know even with some of the things I've studied here, many people even Christians do not have the time, or the inclination, to have encountered these things or learn about them. Don't follow those who incite you to be angry at the "liberals" or those who share other differences, but understand in this world without God's leading there is much confusion. Even in Christian circles, it can take time, study and lots of prayer to see through so many deep deceptions.

Years ago, I discerned that the Al Frankens and Michael Moores of the world were just the opposite side of the coin of the Ann Coulters and Sean Hannity's. The chattering of both sides, drowning out quiet thinking to ask more questions, and think about what God desires in this world.

As I examine the religious world, it seems "fight the liberals" seems to be the top message rather then "preach the gospel", and what does that do but make people even more adamant about NOT becoming a Christian. Maybe this is why there is some rumblings out there of people not being so happy with the church and state connections such as in this poll that found out "Most Americans uncomfortable with church and state mix" where it stated:

Currently, half of all conservatives believe churches and other houses of worship should keep out of politics, up from just 30 per cent four years ago.

Finding out the ties of Vision Forum [the Quiverful Dominionist organization--headed by Doug Phillips who was the son of Howard Phillips one of the founders of the Constitution Party, was interesting the other day. I do not think the connections of the Libertarian or other third parties would be much better. I've had some tell me that Christians need to compromise, compromise is necessary when it comes to politics, and this "logic" has been used to excuse their favorite church leader hanging out in some new world order political group.

I think Christians should still warn of things happening out there, and use discernment to distinguish between the trauma-programming fear mongering and what is really happening but this sums up what I am driving at here, most politics are rotten and to be avoided by Christians. The powers of this world are sold out to mammon, you will not do work for God, joining with them. Pray for who you can, and seek to live life day to day the best you can, at peace with people.[1 Timothy 2:2] Take people as individuals first avoiding the divisions that have been set up.

This sums up what I am driving at the best:

Does this mean that we should not care? Of course not. But to decry the state of a fallen world for the purpose of mobilizing Christians in the hope of transforming that world is futile. Sin will continue to wax worse until Jesus Himself returns to judge the nations. And even then, during His righteous reign on the earth, many hearts will not bend to him even if the knees do bend out of fear or force.

Therefore, this berating of Christians is unfounded when directed at motivating them to action on behalf of these men's doomed efforts to "win the world for Christ." If the Church needs berating it is because we have ignored the Lord's command for holiness in lieu of seeking comfort through the world system, not because we have failed to conquer the world system.
